Jon travels to the place where the captured soldier is being held and discovers it's miles Cole Anderson, the protagonist of the preceding game. Flostov informs Jon that the 23 Society recently captured an American soldier and are going to execute him quickly due to failing to brainwash him. Jon rescues Flostov, who states that he turned into pressured via the 23 Society to assist them create brainwashed, genetically modified great-soldiers. Later, Jon gets intel that the scientist Sergei Flostov is being held at a Separatist facility.
